You can update your billing details either during checkout or anytime from your account settings — both methods save your details securely for future purchases.
How do I update billing details during checkout?
- After clicking Buy Now or Checkout, you'll reach the billing details step.
- Enter your billing details, then click Save and Continue. These details are stored securely, so you won't need to re-enter them on future purchases. Note: Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. If you're based in the EU and have a VAT number, you can add it here too.
To change previously saved details:
Click Edit and enter your updated billing details.
Click Save and Continue to confirm the changes.
Select your payment method and continue to Step 3 – Review Order.
How do I update billing details from my account settings?
- Hover over your name at the top of the screen and select Settings.
- On the Personal Information tab, enter your updated billing details and click Save.
Your new details will automatically apply to all future purchases.
How do billing details work if I've submitted a W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, or W-9?
If you earn money on Envato Market as an author or affiliate, you're required to submit the relevant W form so US tax is applied correctly to your earnings.
Submitting a W form automatically updates your billing details to match. If your details change afterward, you'll need to submit a new W form with the updated information — you can do this anytime via Settings > Tax Information (https://themeforest.net/user/<your-username>/tax_information/new).
Affiliates: W forms are submitted through the Impact affiliate platform instead.
