Sign In Verification is a security feature that confirms it's really you signing in — by emailing a one-time passcode to your account's email address whenever we detect an unfamiliar sign-in. It's one of the ways Envato protects your account from unauthorized access.
How does Sign In Verification work?
Every time you sign in, we check several trust signals to decide whether the sign-in looks normal or needs extra verification.
What do I need to do if I'm asked to verify?
If verification is triggered, you'll be taken to a page asking for a passcode. We'll automatically email a unique passcode to the address on your Envato Market account.
- Check your email for the passcode.
- Copy the passcode and paste it into the verification page.
- Click Authenticate.
Once verified, you'll see a confirmation page like this:
Will I need to verify every time I sign in?
No — only from new or unrecognized locations. Once you've verified a sign-in successfully, that location is saved as an Authorized location, and you won't be asked again from there. Signing in from a new location will trigger verification once, but that location is then remembered too.
Why haven't I received my passcode email yet?
Your passcode email should arrive within 10 minutes. If it hasn't, check the following:
- Did it land in your Spam or Junk folder?
- Are you checking the correct email address — the one on file for your Envato Market account?
- If you use a custom email domain, could server-level filtering be blocking it?
- In rare cases, your host's server may reject our emails — if you suspect this, contact our Support Team.
What if I no longer have access to my account's email address?
Since your email is your primary channel for security actions like password resets and sign-in verification, it's important to keep it up to date. If you've lost access to it, contact the Envato Market Help Center for help recovering your account.
