To buy an item on Envato Market, click "Buy Now" for a single purchase or "Add to Cart" for multiple items, then complete checkout with PayPal or a credit card. Here's the full step-by-step process.
Step 1: Add your item(s) to purchase
- Buying one item? Click Buy Now on the item page to go straight to checkout.
- Buying multiple items? Click Add to Cart, then choose Keep Browsing to continue shopping or Checkout when you're ready to pay.
You can view your cart anytime using the cart icon in the top-right corner of the page.
Need multiple licenses for the same item? Open your cart and update the quantity — your total updates automatically.
Step 2: Sign in or create an account
At checkout, you'll need an Envato account:
- Already have one? Sign in and your details will pre-fill automatically.
- New to Envato? Follow the prompts to create an account.
Tip: Check your inbox for a confirmation email to verify your account.
Step 3: Choose your payment method
Envato Market accepts:
- PayPal — linked to your bank account or credit/debit card
- Visa, Mastercard, or American Express — paid directly
Please note: All transactions are processed in US dollars. A handling fee may apply on orders under $150.

Paying by credit card
Click Buy Now or Checkout, then select the option showing the Visa, Mastercard, and Amex logos, and enter your card details.

- We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express directly — for other card types, pay via PayPal instead.
- Your card details are never stored on Envato's servers.

Paying by PayPal
Click Buy Now or Checkout, then select Pay with PayPal. Log in to your PayPal account in the pop-up window, choose your payment source, and click Complete Purchase. You'll be redirected to your order confirmation once the payment processes.

Step 4: Download your item
Once purchased, download your files right away — items are occasionally removed from Envato Market over time.
- Hover over your username and select Downloads.
- Find your item in the list of everything you've purchased.
- Click Download, then choose either:
- Main File(s) — the complete item files, or
- License Certificate and Purchase Code — licence details only.
If your email isn't confirmed yet, check your inbox or resend the confirmation email from your downloads page.
Why can't I complete my Envato Market purchase?
If your payment is blocked, it is usually due to payment restrictions. Governments, banks, and payment providers like PayPal restrict transactions from certain high-risk countries, individuals, or organizations.
